Honey Homes is a UK based company, with two founder directors – John N. Griggs and Elizabeth J Woodland.
John qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1975 and is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He also holds a degree in Building Economics and is a Member of the Association for Project Management. From 1977 – 1992 he was a partner in the London surveying practice of Murdoch Green and Partners responsible for a full range of surveying and project management services for a large range of Clients. John has also been a director of the Babtie Group, a multi disciplinary company providing all aspects of project management, Regent Homes Developments Plc and Oakdene Homes PLC where he was operations director, and a founder member of the company. He continues to be a shareholder. He is currently a director of Millpond Homes and a non-executive director of Regalpoint. In addition John runs his own surveying and project management company.
Liz trained in London as a fashion buyer, working at various London stores including Harrods, Selfridges, Aquascutum and Moss Bros. In 1987 Liz joined Duty Free Shoppers, a US based duty and tax free retail specialist working in London Gatwick, and over the past 20 years she has lived and worked in Hong Kong, Switzerland, the UK and France. Liz develops retail strategies and procurement plans across all product categories and designs and creates imaginative brand environments and store layouts for brands and retailers from all corners of the world.
Liz’s final corporate position was Chief Procurement Officer for Dufry. She has also held senior management positions with Alpha and Allders (Nuance-Watson), considered as some of the world’s most successful travel retailers. In 2006 Liz established Consulting For Retail, which assists brands in optimizing their design and market potential within the global travel retail environment. Liz is currently a director and senior project manager for John Griggs Associates.
